With a punk attitude and more than one partys, they turned the skate world upside down but still managed to capture the most massive tricks on film. Since in many Baker skate videos the landings looked a bit sketchy and have been cleared with Powerslides or hands on the ground, the appropriate term "Baker-Maker" got established.
Another part of the Baker skateboards myth is provided by their filmer Beagle. By capturing all the madness on the roads of America, he gives the Baker skate videos a very special rough and straight street vibe. Grown Up | The Baker skate team
Over the years, the Baker team has grown up a bit and Andrew "The Boss" Reynolds has developed a very healthy lifestyle. After a few guys leaving the crew and the founding of the sister company Deathwish, many newcomers are making sure that the Baker team presents itself as strongly as ever. Riley Hawk and Rowan Zorilla, two key players of the Shep Dawgs crew are on the list, providing a new input with spontaneous and entertaining skating.
Speaking of new inputs - the youngest addition to the Baker skate team is the young blood Zion Effs. The all-round talent has already made a name for himself in the skate scene within a very short time. Coupled with the support of Andrew Reynolds, we are sure that Zion Effs will become one of the biggest names in skateboarding. The current list of the Baker skate team combines legends and newcomers:
