What does it take to start a skate label? A small, ambitious team, enthusiasm for skateboarding, and a plan to take things into your own hands. That is exactly how it was with cOLLAPSe Skateboards. Co-founder Greg Poissonnier already had some experience in the skateboarding industry as Globe's team manager, marketing coordinator for Dwindle, and European marketing manager for Analog and Gravis. When his buddy Boul Rostan approached him with the idea of adorning a skateboard or two with his very own art, cOLLAPSe was practically already at the starting line.
Since then, cOLLAPSe has been delivering solid skateboard decks at fair prices. Varied designs, artwork and collabs are included, of course. By the way, the deck graphics are printed by the guys in the region - thumbs up!

Poissonnier also describes his brand as such: “We do COLLAPSe because we enjoy it and not to make big money with it. We just love to skate and do our thing with our friends and team riders.” This sentiment is also conveyed by the small yet fine team of George Poole, Romain Covolan, Gaetan Ducellier, Pauliana Laffabrier and our very own skatedeluxe rider Matt Debauche. In videos like "#FlamencOLLAPSe!”, the crew doesn’t give you any dance lessons, but they do show you what they can do on the board.
