Even if you might put Venture trucks in the same drawer as street skating, the trucks with the V-Hanger are perfect for pretty much any setup. They offer very stable trucks that will accompany you for a long time.
The right Venture trucks for your deck width
No matter what deck width you ride, in the skatedeluxe skate shop you can shop the right Venture trucks for it. It's important to consider your axle width when choosing your trucks. We recommend it be the same width as your deck. A deviation of +/- 0.125″ is perfectly fine.

Venture truck heights and recommendations
Since Venture was the first brand to launch a low skateboard truck a few years ago, you can of course still get Venture skateboard trucks in low as well as high versions. The distance between the center of the axle and the bottom of the baseplate is crucial. The higher the truck, the bigger the wheels you can skate.
Venture High trucks are 53,5mm high and we recommend 54mm to 57mm wheels. With riser pads you can skate even bigger wheels. Venture Low trucks are 48mm high. Wheels with a diameter of 50 to 53mm are suitable. If you want to ride Venture Lows with bigger wheels, we definitely recommend riser pads.
Lightweight Venture trucks for your setup
Especially for street skating a light setup can be helpful. But also for young skaters who don't yet have so much strength in the legs, trucks with low weight are advantageous. Like many truck brands Venture has some constructions in the assortment. These trucks are lighter compared to the standard trucks.
Venture Team trucks
The Team trucks from Venture are the standard model. Due to the unique design, these trucks are already somewhat lighter than comparable trucks from other manufacturers.
Venture V-Lights trucks
Because of their hollow kingpin, Venture V-Lights trucks are slightly lighter than the Team version. Hollow kingpins are also more stable due to the cylinder shape and rarely break.
Venture V-Hollow Lights trucks
The V-Hollow Lights are characterized by a hollow kingpin as well as a hollow axle. This makes Venture V-Hollow Lights trucks particularly light and stable.
From underdog to flagship - the genesis of Venture Trucks
Venture trucks are among the most popular on the market today. But the beginnings of the brand were rather humble. Fausto Vitello - co-founder of Thrasher Magazine and Independent Trucks - ran the Ermico foundry back in the 80s. At the time, Venture Trucks were to be created as a low-cost truck alternative to established brands like Tracker, Gullwing and Indy.
Even then, Venture trucks were somewhat lighter than other skateboard trucks. The slowly emerging street skateboarding scene quickly noticed this and gave Venture Trucks a chance. At the latest since Mark Gonzales was spotted with Venture trucks, some skate spots and Venture trucks became inseparable.
A re-design that created a stir: the first Venture Low trucks
In the early 90s, Venture trucks were completely redesigned. This also resulted in a Venture truck model with a low profile, which can still be found in the assortment today as the Venture Low. Venture met the ravages of time, because back then skaters often used very small wheels of 50 mm diameter or smaller. Thus, the low truck fit the setup perfectly.
Today, Venture Trucks houses a large team of well-known skaters, which solidifies the image of the brand in skateboarding.
