Have you ever wondered which skateboard deck brand is the best? If so, you are certainly not alone. Of course, we don't have a definite answer for that either. However, based on 2023 data, we can tell you which skateboard decks or brands are the most popular.
To do this, we checked sold decks, brand shop visits, search queries and other factors and created a list of the most popular deck brands. Check out the top 15 skateboard deck brands and find out if the small, independent or even long-established brands are among the best according to our ranking.
Our own brand, skatedeluxe, was not considered for the ranking. Still, we say thank you and appreciate the trust you put in our skatedeluxe decks!

15. Santa Cruz
Founded in 1973 and still going strong - Santa Cruz Skateboards! The heritage brand from California makes it into the top 15 in 2023 thanks to its unusual shapes and graphics!

Still in the game - Flip Skateboards. Flip makes it into our top 15 list again in 2023. For well over 20 years, Flip has been supplying you with first-class decks from pros like Tom Penny & Lance Mountain.

12. Chocolate
Chocolate Skateboards is consistent and a safe bet when it comes to solid and progressive street skating. The decks from the Californian brand prove exactly that, which is why Chocolate is ranked 12th in 2023!

11. Element
A top-class skate team of young rippers from all over the world lovingly created videos and first-class decks - Element Skateboards made it to number 11 in our Top 15 in 2023.

10. GX1000
Bomb Hills, not countries - and the GX1000 2023 crew certainly did that! The crew from San Francisco was productive again this year and not only delivered great videos but also first-class decks with unmistakable graphics.

9. Palace
Back in the top 10 and this time at number 9 - Palace Skateboards from London. In addition to interesting collaborations, 2023 also saw the very worthwhile full-length video "Beta Blockers" by Palace.

8. krooked
Krooked was productive in 2023 and delivered a UK tour video, a part by Una Farrar and Eddie Cernicky and probably the most unusual shapes currently available. 8th place for Gonz and his team!

7. Toy Machine
Toy Machine celebrated its 30th anniversary this year! You have remained loyal to Ed Templeton's brand and have helped the Bloodsucking Skateboard Company reach number 7 in our Top 15!

6. Hockey
Hockey is probably the brand with the darkest deck graphics at the moment. You seem to like it because Dill & van Engelen's brand makes it to 6th place in 2023!

5. Anti Hero
Once again at the forefront - Anti Hero. How could it be any different? The brand around Julien Stranger, Frank Gerwer & Co. delivers entertaining deck graphics, innovative shapes and lots of raw and fast skating!

4. Girl
Girl Skateboards can now be seen as a truly traditional brand and it is therefore more than pleasing that it made it to number 4 in 2023. Maybe the Euro Tour video "Deseh Mode" had something to do with it?

Real Skateboards has one of the most powerful skate teams ever, so it's no surprise that the brand from the DLXSF Rooster is in the top 3. More than deserved!
