Yes, I completely agree. For a 9.5" egg board, I would recommend trucks with an axle width of 9 to 9.125".

These trucks are over a half an inch, (1.6cm) wider than a 8.38" deck. We would not recommend using something that much wider unless you are experienced and your wheels sticking out beyond your board doesn't bother you and your skating.
