I tried a lot of wheels, anything between between 80a and 100a, 52mm to 67mm, but ended up with these. They are excellent for rough streets – protecting your knees compared to 97a – whilst not being overly bouncy like 93a's. I also prefer sidecuts over the widecuts due to my love for reverts and powerslides.
I used to ride Spitfire Formula Four, but switched to Bones because the geometry suits me better — narrower wheels, closer to a classic shape. This shape turned out to be perfect for me. They’re narrow enough, roll great, and lock onto rails and ledges really well without adding extra resistance on blunt slides. As for the X-Formula, I honestly didn’t feel much difference compared to Formula Four. They roll just as well, are very durable, grip when you need them to, and slide when you want them to.
I loved this wheels the first time I took them to the streets, but once I stepped into the skatepark I missed my spitfires :/
Unfortunately, we can't accept orders from Vereinigte Staaten. We only ship within Europe and to Japan.
