Amazing deck, the graphic is really high quality, the board feels pretty light with a long lasting pop and the proportions are great!
Val bought this product.
The board is of very high quality. Sublime choice of design, an alternative representation of the body to the stifling masculinity of the skateboarding world. For those interested, because it's not mentioned, this is Albrecht Dürer's "Adam" painted in 1507, now on display at the Prado Museum in Madird. In reality, it's a series, since it's not a diptych, but Dürer did paint "Eve", and therein lies the problem... Where's Eve at Skatedeluxe, it's not just Adam who's allowed to skate. In 2024, France is hosting the Olympic Games, and skateboarding is no longer just for men. So we need Eve, to re-employ this figure of the woman too sullied by the work and institutions she comes from. I think it's a shame for a major company like Skatedeluxe to deliberately distort an artist's work to sell skateboards to little boys. It's a way of cultivating a male clique that's not very beneficial to the skateboarding community.
