Unlike its predecessor, the Nike SB Bruin React uses a cup sole construction. Although they're are considered less flexible than vulcanized soles, thanks to its design, the Nike SB Bruin React scores points with its high flexibility. The material also promises durability and grip.

Like many skate shoes from Nike SB, the Bruin React has a narrow cut, especially in the forefoot area. However, you can still order the Bruin React in your usual size. But if you have very wide feet and occasional problems with narrow shoes, we recommend ordering the Bruin React maybe half a size larger.

While the predecessor model, Zoom Bruin, was also available in special versions for women, the new Bruin takes an unisex approach.
